A small introduction about myself
Alex began his art career at the early age of nine, creating his own comic starring a cat named Woodchuck. Of course, since then he added a few more accomplishments to his repertoire, and is directly responsible for coordinating and managing a team of 2D/3D artists and animators. Alex and his team are tasked with the production of graphics and animations for all internal and external projects within Technology Transfer Services.
Though sketching cartoon characters is his preferred pastime, Alex is quite adept at managing client expectations, from project conception through completion, ensuring the implementation of a clear, consistent visual language. He is also currently tasked with designing web-based training using the Articulate Rapid eLearning Studio; creating graphics, Flash animations, and custom interactions to explain and display highly technical industrial content.
During the past three years, Alex has had the opportunity to manage and participate in the creation of four interactive mini games as part of ODESIE, a virtual learning environment. These games are designed to reinforce information learned in online courses by engaging the user in a fun and creative manner.
